Property Services undertakes and participates in a wide range of research into property market conditions to ensure that it is upto date on news, innovations, trends, statistics and data affecting and influencing property valuations, property regeneration and the commercial landlord and tenant relationship.

A significant number of the staff are Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the senior officers are Members of the Association of Chief Estates Surveyors and Property Managers for Local Government (ACES). The information gained through these portals and contacts enables a high level of accuracy and intelligence in providing the Consultancy's own property research reports (which are currently only for internal departmental use), and providing advice and valuations to Client Departments and property advice to the Mayor.
