During
the Tenancy
As a commercial tenant or market stall
holder, you will be expected to fulfil
the obligations under the lease/tenancy

important is payment of your rent. Depending
on the provisions in the agreement between
you and the Council, this is either monthly,
quarterly or annually.
Rent
can be paid by cheque, standing order,credit/debit
card or you will soon be able to pay rent
on-line. For further details of payment
please contact the Commercial Rents Officer
on 0208 430 3708.
Rent is due on the day stated in your
agreement.
If
you have any queries about the statement
please contact The Commercial Rents Officer.
PLEASE
NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT PAY YOUR RENT
BY THE DUE DATE FURTHER ACTION WILL BE
TAKEN.
Depending
on the terms of your Lease/tenancy, Bailiffs
and/or Court Action may be taken.
To
avoid unnecessary action, please contact
the Commercial Rents Officer as a matter
of priority as soon as you think you may
be heading for any financial difficulties.
Also,
you should consider contacting your financial
adviser or Solicitor or the Citizens Advice
Bureau/Debt Counsellors.
